Normative Multiplicity

The Jungian approach to psyche suggests that we are, each of us, a community of inner parts with their own preferences, interests, and modes of being. This is not a pathological situation; it is a fascinating, perhaps even lovely facet of being human.

Gifted and Talented Adults -- Authorship

So much more than high-IQ and high-ability, many gifted individuals also lead rich and highly imaginal interior lives. I am especially interested in the inner territories of those with literary talent.

Writers’ Notebooks

Writers’ notebooks offer rich, intimate accounts of the challenges authors encounter both in psyche and on the page. Often astonishingly transparent, these journals provide an incomparable window into the writing life.
